Annual Assessment
Certificates issued by AAC are valid for a period of three years subject to successful annual surveillance. Every year an AAC assessor will visit to conduct an annual surveillance assessment ensuring your organisation is continually meeting the requirements of the standard. Surveillance audits are not necessarily a full assessment of your entire management system but should cover all aspects over three-year cycle.
Every third, typically 2-3months before the expiry of your certificate an AAC assessor will visit to conduct a recertification assessment in place of an annual surveillance. The recertification assessment is similar to a stage 2 assessment as it will be a full assessment encompassing your entire management system concluding with a new recommendation for certification.
Our assessors will always compile a report at a visit to your organisation and you will always receive a copy for your records.
